I posted this on swordforum, but got far less response then I was hoping for, and I reflect that this might be a better forum in which to start the discussion.

When I was at the Blade show, and I got to look at Atrims up close, well, I just couldn't get enough of his shop sword, the 1506. He had what I understand is a 'bow tie' cross on it, unless the spike-ish cross you see on the http://Angustrimdirect.com/ web site.

I'm curious as to how many separate models of each hilt component are offered by Angus. That's now, and in the past. Now, I'm hoping Angus will give us a list of cross guards, pommels, and such, (if he can pull himself away from the new project long enough! That's hard when inspiration hits...)

But, as long as I'm posting a thread, what are everyone's favorites?

And what crosses/pommels/other things, would you like to see offered on stock Atrims?

I think this should be an excellent topic, considering we usually focus on the Atrim blades rather than hilts.

Oh, Let's not put in Christian Fletcher hilts. They are wonderful designs as well, and merit their own thread if anyone would like to start one. For this thread, let's stick the hilts Angus provides.

Oh? That's a disappointment. What changes are you intending to make wich will prevent such?
