Okay, I'll bite the blade and post this. I'm looking for someone or group in central Illinois to study WMA with. Somewhere around Champaign-Urbana as I live in Tuscola. I work at Kraft in Champaign (3rd shift).

You might want to ask around at the forums for the ARMA (the Association for Renaissance Martial Arts). There may be a study group nearby.

How far away are you from Chicago? The Chicago Swordplay Group is a fantastic set of people who work primarily on Italian medieval arts, though they do some Renaissance as well.

I thought of The Chicago Swordplay Group but I often work six days a week, as Chicago is about 2 hours drive away it will only help on holidays. Thanks Bill.

The ARMA structure, being rather decentralized, is set up to allow for independent study. So, even if there is no one in your area, you'll at least have access to their resources and expertise until you can find or form a local study group. That's what I'm having to do, as well as several other members with no local study group.
