I think you can get in touch with him through the Armour Research Society.

Appriciated! I only found this page, http://www.erikdschmid.com/TMRS_1.htm but it seems to be something wrong with it, atleast for me - cant see anything but the text.

erikdschmid@charter.net is his active address.
He is likely not to reply to any emails sent to his older address at astound.

He is currently putting together a new workshop that will be utilising some mass production techniques that will still be "in period". When this is done he should be able to produce the same quality mail at a much reduced price. I daresay he will post on a few different forums when he is ready to start taking orders. Initially he will only be making small items like standards and coifs. Full haubergeons will be available later on.

That would be interesting to have very good quality maille available at a price mid-range between very expensive
( I assume ) hand made custom made maille and the cheap in both sense of the word alternatives. ( Hey, I've got cheap stuff that serve my purposes but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to upgrade to something much better. I'm not so much concerned by historical accuracy as having a product with little or no " weak " links i.e. well made, sound design and maybe some time in the future historical accuracy becoming more important to me, so having that also would be a big plus. )
