Hello,

This is my first official post here since I've been so buisy lately.

Anyway, I wanted to see who's placed their Albion Armorers Next Generation orders yet. I reserved a Viceroy 2 weeks back and I'm extremely excited about it. The XXa blades are one of my favorites because their well suited for both cutting and thrusting. I also like the pommel since it seems to be very unique and gives the sword a very elagant appearance.

The Albion crew is definately on the right path here and I'm happy to be a faithfull customer Big Grin

I reserved a viceroy for pretty much the same reasons you did. I have also reserved a Sovereign.

Well, I *would have* if I had any money. I personally can't quite choose among the current models for what I would buy if I had just one to get, but the Viceroy is probably at the top of my list. Anybody got a winning lottery ticket they don't want? lol

I've reserved the Landgraf...but the Viceroy won't be far behind ( I hope! Happy )

I have reserved a Regent.

I also like to get the Landgraf, Squire, Sovereign, Knight, and the Museum Line Solingen. No way I can ever gat all of them though. So for now, just the Regent. Although I'd really, really like to figure out a way to see and handle all of them and then choose one or three to add to the collection.

Yeah, that would be the best case scenario and most of us would agree with you here, I think... Handling the different models in person would be great for really finding what feels 'right' to a person.

I narrowed it down to the Viceroy and the Castellan. I ended up ordering the Castellan. If these swords are as good as I think they will be, I'll probably order the Viceroy next.

Thought about this some more, and I could probably narrow the really want list down to Landgraf, Knight, and ML Solingen. But first I really need a new rapier and I have a suddenly growing interest in Sabers after reading Secret History of the Sword. Not that it matters, just thought I'd share! Big Grin

. . . kind of neat living about an hour from New Glarus and all. . .

Seriously, though, if you ever get a chance, call up Mike at Albion to set up a time to stop by the shop. The place is amazing, and the people are great to talk to. . . and the swords are pretty special too!

. . . and if you do: weaponsmiths, cutlers, and administration likey doughnuts Wink

Closer than I thought, but still a 500 mile trip for me. Probably not one I'd manage anytime soon. Sad
