I was trything to think up a hilt combination for a XVIIIb that I would like, but would also be historical. I looked in the features at that type, and chose a pommel and guard that were listed. But that does not mean they would have ever been used together, So, in your opinions, might a:
40" flat diamond cross section XVIIIB
9" hand and a half fluted (octagonal) grip
I1 (octagonal) pommel in latten bronze or brass
1 (spike - octagonal crossection) guard
Ever be found?
And if so any guesses at the weight?
would it be concave ground with a secondary bevel like the regent, or flat ground with no final bevel?
bored-construction probably, not sandwich for that time period right?
