I'm planning on buying a new sword sometime, probably an atrim or albion. I liked the DD1404 Moonbrand from the review on this website. Anyone have any suggestions for other model/makers, or handled this one for that matter? Looking pretty much for a single hander, with good balance, and cutting ability, around $300-$800 or so. Thanks for the input.

Hi Douglas
I happen to like the DD1404 also. Nice sword........ and I have to second Nathan's thought on the A&A French Medieval. I got to handle one at WMAW last year.
A couple of other AT's that might warrant a looksee would be the AT1314, the AT1215, the AT1431 on AllSaints site {similar time frame}.
Then you might look at the new Albion Mark Next Gen's.... There's a thread on the Maker's Talk forum that details the development of these........ and several of them are still in your price range.........
swords are fun

Very cool thanks for the advice. I saw the AT1215, and definately like the look of it. I also like all the new upcoming next generation albion's, especially the norman and knight. Definately love the bang for the buck of your swords though, but I guess I should get one from albion or A&A for some variety eventually. Well someday heh... Only real sword I have for now is the MS1503 Seneschal, so I'll probably get another atrim first since it'll be the first I can afford.
