The sword is in Oakeshott's Records of the Medieval Sword.
Its page 212 and its a XXa.1
basicaly I would like to know where it is kept now as I think it is no longer on display in the Bayerisches in Munich.
Any Information on this sword's current location would be greatly appreciated.

For those without access to Records of the Midieval Sword it is in the type XX spotlight.

It's the fifth sword down.
As far as the swords current location I have no idea. Sorry I can't be of any real help.
I hope you find it; that is a very impressive sword.
Good Luck,
Alex

When I visited the museum some years ago to document another weapon, this sword was still on display in the same vitrine. It maybe that they change around the exhibits from time to time?
You might try contacting the museum, if you have not already done that?
