Been pretty busy and just now posting this one. I ordered it back about May I believe and it showed up Monday. Heck my wife took the pictures on Thursday for me. This sword is based on a design I did for a "classic" looking La Tene sword. The maker did add the pommel cap, and I'll most likely modify it or remove it and peen the tang at some point. I am planning to darken the brass up when I get a chance.

Overall Length: 34"
Blade Length: 27 3/4"
Blade width: 1 7/8"
Grip length: 3 1/2"

Here are some pictures and my original design

Congratulations!

Looks like he did quite a nice job interpereting your design, too.

Must say, though, I don't care much for the pommel cap either, looks a bit "clunky"? But that is pretty easy for you to fix sounds like.

Great to see you finally got your Celtic blade!
