Hey Guys -
I know that everyone's always looking for a good source of wool.
http://www.fabric.com/wool-melton.aspx
Fabric.com has Wool Melton back in stock, and in a variety of colors. Buy quickly, because this wool goes out of availability quickly due to demand.
When boiled, shocked, and dried on high, this wool fulls up nicely and is great for costuming. It is a coat-weight wool, so it would be wonderful for any piece of medieval clothing, and could be doubled up for light gambesons.
Just thought you'd all like to know!

I just recieved two yards of it for use on a wool lined scabbard. I can vouch for it being good quality and weight for the price.
Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence!
