I'm getting ready to start a saw back "pirate cutlass" build, something like the sketch below. It will be multipurpose; something I can take to renfaires, a tool for camping, just look cool as hell, etc. For design inspiration I'm drawing from the mid 17th-early 18th centuries. I'd like to keep it historically grounded.

So I was hoping you might be able to help me out with the blade geometry. If anybody has sawback hunting swords or anything from this period and can get me measurements that would be awesome. Thicknesses of the back at various points along the blade, some indication of how the blade tapers across its width, observations of fuller and edge geometry would all be helpful. I know I've seen some where the distal taper is apparent even in the saw teeth, but numbers would help. Any advise but especially measurements welcome. Thanks in advance!
