Here is a Youtube video showing and explaining how to do pattern welding, also how one can use plasticine to figure out how to make certain patterns and how they would look like in Steel/Iron before doing the heavier work.

Demonstration by Owen Bush and also a view of a finished Viking sword.
The earlier Youtube video of which the above video was an outtake that Tod decided to post.

Tod's Youtube Home page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWnlQMQ-ACfhpD68yWRsnJw
This is the kind of content and participation by makers that one can find posted on this site by the makers, or by others who want to share the information, is another reason why one should support this site if one want this site to continue: Just a shameless plug to the current annual Donation drive in addition to the fact that I thought that people would like to see these videos, and also support Tod's work, plus also see some of Owen Bush's work which looks amazing !
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!
