This is a new offer from russian "Mir Drevnostey" ("World of Antiques") company - a blunt aluminium scottish greatsword, the largest bladed weapon ever produced by this company (up to this time they made things not larger than hand-and half sword).

It features 107 sm (42") long blunt aluminium blade, flat hexagonal in section. Steel hilt with typical claymore quillons and massive pommel is 46 sm (18") long, giving overall length of 153 sm (60"). There is a ricasso wrapped with leather. Although made of aluminium, sword weights about 2,5 kg (5.5 lb), because of more wide, thick and unfullered blade. Both length and weight of sword looks realistic, corresponding with two smallest zweihanders from austrian arsenal of Graz. Point of balance is on the ricasso, about 12,5 sm (5") from the cross-piece.

On the picture sword is shown with two blunt aluminium cup-hilted hangers made by "Mir Drevnostey".

Ну да, я видел несколько раз такие темы... Вот и решил свое запостить. Дюралевых двуручей я в "МД" до последнего времени не видел - там давно висел только стальной цвайхандер, не шотландский - с боковыми кольцами на гарде и парировальными крюками над рикассо.

Стоит 4500. Дорого, но другого нет...

Бугага, я вот думаю, если вдруг членами меряться то кто кого перемеряет... наши или они :D как там, говорится "чья красавица лучше"? :P
Он что, дюралевый? Чёт, цены в МД неудобоваримые, проще напрямую к производителям обращаться.
