Been looking for cuisses for my late 15th century kit, and came across these. I think they look fantastic, but I've never seen anything like them. I've seen segmented cuisses/tassets for 16th and 17th century cavalrymen, but those look different to this. I've also seen some late 15th/early 16th century cuisses with segments like this right at the top for articulation but not all the way down. Does anybody know anything about this type of cuisses or can provenance historical examples that are similar?

Similar design, but 14th century: https://vk.com/photo-11029306_457275140 Those rivets make It look like a solid construction. Probably not much help to you.

They look very much late 16th century, not late 15th.

That was my initial thought as well, but the overall shape is very different
