Hey all. I'm new to the site and was hoping to have some with more knowledge than I give their thoughts on a piece I'm having done. Any and all thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated.

I’m having a 15th Century German-style longsword commissioned by Maciej Kopciuch, a Polish swordmaker/historian. He's known for his incredible detail and his incredible historical accuracy, namely with his St. Georgius sword -- http://artofswordmaking.com/gallery/st-georgius-14thc. Looking at this particular piece got me thinking about what I could have him do for me, and I decided to go with a theme revolving around the city of Stuttgart in Germany.

I'm former U.S. military and spent some time there in 2017 -- it's one of my favorite places now, and I'd like to do my best to pay homage to the city's history in the form of this sword. I've done a deep Wikipedia dive and found a few references that I think would look phenomenal on a sword like this, but if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to field any and all of them.

One thing I was unable to find suitable references for is the Stiftskirche, an old Lutheran church within the city. It appears to have some gorgeous art and other things that I think would look incredible on something like this.
