Sorry if there is already another thread for this but I haven’t been able to find much through a simple source and the search function on effigiesandbrasses can leave quite a bit out. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any evidence that by the time limb articulation was more of the norm any kind of splint armor had stuck around. I know it lasted a bit longer in Germany and the areas surrounding it but so far all I’ve come across has been (at least appearing to be) floating arm and leg harness.
