Bastard Sword, early 15th century, inspired by group of original swords, effigies and manuscripts.
Scabbard decoration based on original scabbard from Mainfränkisches Museum, Würzburg, Germany.

Measurements:

Blade length 845mm
Blade width 57mm
Grip length 160mm
Balance 70mm
Weight 1220g
Edges sharp
Blade steel AISI 6150
Hardness ca. 54HRC

I really enjoy the flare at the base of the blade - it makes me think that you've made some sort of Type XIV longsword, which is something I think many of us secretly want to see... Big Grin
