Hi!

Let me show you our new custom-made piece "English basket hilt sword" - Claude Blair's collection.
I´d be glad for your comments.

Cheers,
Michal

It has good clean lines, looks very good. Can you please give us some specifications?

Looks absolutely fantastic. Of course the basket is great, but I also like the double fuller.

Is the pommel hollow?

Hi there,
thanks for your comments.

Yes, pommel is hollow (made of 2 parts). Length: 102 cm, PoB: 9 cm, blade: single-edged (with false-edge), weight: 1,6 kg.
I tried to reduce the weight as much as possible.

Gorgeous work; thanks for posting. This and your continental basket hilt are on my wish list of modern pieces to consider after I trim down my antique collection.
