I came home from work this afternoon and found BJ waiting on the front porch for me.
I wasn't happy about the carrier leaving it on the doorstep, but at least it arrived intact. I had requested that Albion ship BJ in one of their wooden Conan boxes. I didn't want to skimp on this particular sword.
Speaking of Albion, yesterday I recieved an e-mail from Mike Sigman stating that my sword had been sent to a customer in New Mexico by mistake. I immediately phoned Mike and he answered with a "gotcha". There's obviously a cruel heart lurking beneath that light hearted exterior

I'm sure you'll be writing an article about this sword including specs soon, but could you tell us how wide that sword blade is at the guard? It seems like it's significantly wider than 2 inches.
That was pretty cruel of Mike. If he'd done that to me concerning a sword like that, I would have had a few choice words for him.

Hi Roger,
BJ's 2 & 5/16 inches wide at the hilt.

Well, aside from the fact I'm not a customer, I could have lived with it shipping by mistake to somebody in New Mexico, as long as it was me. But I would have given it back, honest....
Great sword, Patrick....

GOTCHA!!!! I could not resist doing that. You should have heard the panic in his voice. I could not hold on to long before I had to let him know I was joking.

Pretty brave, Mike. Personally, I'd never pick on a man with a big Johnsson.

I was able to hold and play with Patrick's Big Johnsson while he was here. Swinging around his Johnsson was a lot of fun. I know Patrick is enjoying it. I bet this makes everyman jealous now!!!

I don't know whether Peter feels pleased about these innuendos about virility, or if he's embarrassed. Or if Craig Johnson is feeling jealous!

Well, Peter's "Johnsson" is a little longer than Craig's "Johnson".
