but alas timing is terrible,
did anyone see the raven sword go through, although not an antique, it looks a fine sword,

Yes, that Raven sword was a very nice piece of work. It went for well above estimate- the hammer price was over £700 if I remember rightly. The hammer prices are usually published on Tom's website on the catalogues archive within a few days of the auction. As of this evening they're not up yet...

So did anyone here manage to bag anything yesterday?

I was fortunate in nailing a black-and-white morion, which was my goal for the day, and also a black-and-white burgonet, which seemed to be going for a song and therefore worth a punt. I therefore put myself out of the running for a breastplate to match, but there's always next time...
How about some pictures when your armor arrives, or links to the auction images? I was registered, there was an Ottoman military kilij I was interested in but I found another auction with a better one so nothing for me.

Eric, here are my two helmets. I apologise for the ropey photographs- I only have the camera on my iphone and there's so much crud and grit under the lense now that I can't take a half-decent photo with it!

extremely frustrating, had a medical appointment that neatly spanned the entire armour section. Got home, rushed online to hear Tom say 'and that concludes the armour....' Grrrrrr On the plus side I bought a heap of pistols. Not usually my thing but needed to spend some money this 1/4!

Now its save the pennies for something special in Dec. Well done anyone who got stuff (that burgonet is lovely!)
