Perhaps this is an improper thread for this particular board, but seeing as I'm not engaged in any other WMA forums (and it is relevant to the study of historical arms), why not post it / ask about it? Onward!:
I live in Northwestern Indiana in the US, and I know of no nearby HEMA clubs in my general area. Chicago is way too far out there to be a viable option, and the most prominent organization I know of in the city studies Italian styles, which are not quite in line with my thinking.
That said, if you live in a county adjacent to Jasper (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_counties_in_Indiana#/media/File:Indiana_county_map.png) and are looking for a practice partner yourself, consider sending me an e-mail or posting in the thread. There really is only so much you can learn by yourself without someone else to learn with.
Last, should you be in a comparable situation to myself (regardless of your geographic location), I'd like to invite you to join in the thread as well. I can't be the only chap having this issue!

I think you are right. There are currently no HEMA clubs in northwestern Indiana but there's a fencing club in that area.

In all honesty, you're probably best joining and engaging with HEMA focused forums to find clubs for this.
The HEMAA forums are a good start, although a bit inactive these days: http://hemaforums.com/index.php
They also have a club finder service: http://www.hemaalliance.com/club-finders/
Most activity, however, is on Facebook. If neither of the above get you anywhere, the HEMAA Facebook group would be my first port of call for trying to find people: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HEMAAlliance/
There was a chap at Notre Dame trying to form a club recently, which seems like it's a bit further out than you're after, but my US geography is poor.
