I need help. Do somebody have some information about that rivet in sleeve? There are many of these. It is visible in Type L in Pettersen typologie. What it was intended? Attachment: 19.76 KB
Fastening the spearhead in a fashionable way.
I´ve handled some sspearheadswith that kind of nails at Historiska museet in Stockholm, and they were in fact nails, and not rivets wich I believed before seeing them.
PM me if you want a picture of the inside of a socket with nails showing on the inside.
