Hello guys!
I'm new to the forum, and this is my first topic. I'm planning to build a mid/second half XIV. century knight armour (from cc. 1350 to cc. 1380) and one of the hardest questions for me is the bascinet type... I've searched for many types and I found this bascinet would be quite good for me, but I've not seen any of this visor type in manuscripts or existing helmets in museums.
So could you guys help me with it? Is it authentical, and if it's, then is it good for my time period? Thanks for the help!

I can't figure out whether this bascinet is authentic or not, Gábor.“You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength”
