We had some problems with the site. Previous links are not working. Sorry.
But we continue to make armor
Not so long ago I’ve made a roman helmet. The main difficulties were to output geometry most correctly and preserve authentic thickness of helmet. It is approximately 0.8 mm on the top, 1 mm on the edges of skull, 0.7 mm on the neck-flap, the thickness of cheek guards – 0.6 – 0.8 mm.
The helmet is made of mild steel, brass strip, rings for ridge and a fork – of brass. Forehead guard is soldered with the help of tin. All of the rivets are handmade. There is a binding for fork on artifact, and the fork itself is chosen from catalogue of the findings of Vindonissa.

Reconstruction Maximilian set from a museum in Vienna. It is believed that this set is made in the transitional style from Gothic to Maximilian. The original is very low. About 150-160cm. Placed on human height 175cm. It should be noted that at the moment is our most serious premium class work.
