I have up-loaded some photographs and drawings of a sword excavated near the site of the Alt-Lübeck fortification in the late 1800s. It is now in a deplorable state but it must have once been a marvellous weapon, judging by the accurately executed fuller and the unrivaled artistic quality of the fine inscriptions.

Very nice! Please continue to post more of these! It's wonderful to see such good photos of swords! The inscriptions on this one are beautiful. Thank you for posting.
