I recently went on a tour to mainland China, checking out some of the cities near Shanghai. Although there were plenty of museums to see, we only visited one, in Suzhou. However, while there, I had a chance to photograph two bronze swords from early Chinese history.
Bronze Sword
Spring & Autumn Period (770-426 BC)
Excavated in Wanping, Wujiang
Bronze Sword
Eastern Zhou (770-221 BC)
Excavated in Wanping, Wujiang

As an extra bonus, here are some jade gemstones used in the decoration of a sword scabbard. Since I was in a bit of a rush, I forgot to photograph the exact date and location of the find; however, it is probably roughly contemporary to the previous bronze swords.
