Hello there, recently I decided to make a replica of full late medieval armour, I hope that awareness of this that some people may be weaiting for any progres in this topic will make me to finish this project Happy

I chose Leeds one because it is seem quite uncomplicated, and I think that i will be capable to finish it unreservedly. Here I send link to blog where the orginal one is photograped and descirbed: http://southtowerarmouringguild.blogspot.com/...ember.html .

And here is my current progress after about two days of work:

In upcoming week I will try to assemble backplate and make tassets, and from Friday I will start making legs during Craft Festival so maybe i can post some photos from festival itself if anyone will be interested. Of corse feel free to leave comment or suggestion Happy

Maybe I am wrong, but the cuirass seems to be flaring too little from the waist upwards. Just compare proto of your breastplate:

to this photo of the original backplate

I myself made that mistake when making my cuirass. As a result the cuirass is functional, but I feel that it constrains my breathing a little.

So here comes new photos Happy By this time I only managed to finish whole cuirass, this armour is after hours project so progress will be rather sloppy. But i decided to sew a gambeson for it and begin armour stand and at later date make a chainmail so it will look as much same as original as possible. Armour will be 100% usable, so proportions may be a bit different than original. And last fauld of backplate has make a little joke to me, so I have to do something about it Happy So here are photos:
