So I see that they split or whatever. I placed an order with lutel.eu (Petr) several months back for a czech tusk. I was charged extra for a Halbert not a tusk. I did not realize the discrepincy until after I sent payment. At this time I have sent them e-mails, facebook, and forum messages with no reply. I was not asking for a return of the difference, just simply a status update after a couple months.
Is lutel.eu defunct? should I have ordered from Lutel Handicrafts?
please let me know if others are having similiar problems with Lutel.eu or if some how I slipped through the cracks.
Cheers,

Lutel Handicrafts is the Lutel we all know and love. The other one (unfortunately) is the (edited) less-than-communicative one.

I don't want to cast aspersions on Lutel.eu as I don't know anyone that's ordered from them after the split, but I can tell you whomever I know that's ordered from Lutel Handicraft has received their orders pretty much on time with good communication. Hopes this helps.

I have received 2-swords from Lutel Handicrafts since the split and the swords were on time and very good quality.
I have never considered Lutel.eu for a purchase but think they post here on the forum sometimes.

I fear I have been taken. I ordered from Lutel.eu and have not recieved any feedback and it would appear that I was also overcharged as I had ordered a czech tusk and was charged for a halbert.
I have not recieved any responce to any requests. I have ordered from lutel before so I assumed it was all the same. I only now found out about a split. I hope this is incorrect and that Petr is still working on my sword. is anyone working with lutel.eu?

Eric, what you are experiencing is one of the reasons that the original split up of Lutel occured. There were issues with orders being taken and paid for but the items not delivered (the orders were apparently not passed on to the craftsmen and the money pocketed by the middle man), lack of communications, excuses, and so on.
The Lutel Handicrafts guys run a tight ship, by all reports i've seen they deliver on time, on budget and the communications are excellent - these are the original Lutel guys. I really hope that your issues with Lutel.eu are sorted quickly and you get what you paid for.

You could try contacting your credit card company to have them cancel/charge back the transaction if they don't contact you back about cancelling the order.

I'm sorry for you. IMHO using Moneygram (or services like it, e.g. Western Union) should have been a giant red flag. Always use a credit card or direct bank transfer so you can do a chargeback.
