Has anyone here had any experience with these guys?
http://www.swordsofmight.com/
They seem to be pretty legitimate, but I would like some testimonials before I commit money.
And yes, I know the joys and wonders of KultofAthena (I normally order from them), but they're out of stock on some items I want...
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hey Nathan, I bought some bare blades from Swords of Might a while back, and the transaction went off without a hitch. However, a few months ago I tried to get my hands on some blades that were out of stock at KOA and they took my order online and never sent me any information telling me that those products were out of stock. About a week later I called to check on when they had shipped, and only then was I told the item was out of stock. "When will it be back in stock?" I asked him. "Five to six months" was the reply. An he seemed surprised that I wanted a refund....
So, the moral of the story is call first and check if the products are actually in stock. If they are, go for it. If not, keep your eye on KOA...they have a much more frequently updated website that seems to reflect exactly what they've got (and if not, when they'll have it).
good luck,
Jesse

At Kult of Athena on a product out of stock and not currently available you can read this message and request to receive an e-mail when it's back in stock:
Quote: | Back Ordered
This item is not currently available for purchase. It may be a few weeks up to several months before they are back in stock. If you would like to be notified when this item returns please send a blank email to backorders@kultofathena.com with subject ''SH6018KLG'' and we'll let you know as soon as it is back. |
Example above from this below at KoA:

Ok, so I'll call to confirm they have what I want to order ahead of time. Thanks!
Jean, I am aware of and use KOA's notification system, but I'd like to get my paws on what I want to order ASAP.

Nathan keep in mind that I will at times add some information that I assume the original poster of the Topic may be aware of, but it's useful information for other people reading the Topic thread, and they might not be aware if this as much as regular customers of KoA would be.
So, although my replies might be addressed to the person in the " quote " it's also addressed to everybody else reading it.
