Many years ago, I obtained what were supposed to be a set of Napoleonic era Back and Breastplates . ( Back ad Breast plates only, no mountings). I'm finally trying to correctly identify them with a view to selling or swapping. My question is..does anyone know of a good, on-line, source of references that might help me correctly identify them ? I'd post pics of them, but at present they are all packed away and it's awkward to get at them. I'll try to dig them out and get pics, but this may take a lil while. In meantime, I'd like to try some research myself.
