Hi
Made a Bec de corbin after a original in the Dresden historical museum.
I made a combination between the dresden bec de corbin and a drawing by Hans talhoffer.
so the hammerhead and buttspike are detachable by bolts and nut.
Hope you guy's like it.

Excellent! Do you sell your stuff? Do you take commissions? If yes, what would be the price tag be on such a piece?
Really good work!

Like it very much, especially the butt spike.

its interesting that this pollaxe is able to be taken apart, i can just imagine a man taking the head of his bec de corbain out of his pollaxe and, in preperation for a assault in a seige perhaps, maybe will fit it to theshaftof a shorter hafted warhammer.
or even swapping the hammer and spike for an axe and hammer combo.

Wait a minute...
Since it can all come apart that means it can be shipped without a haft...
Meaning that it has cheaper postage, shipping, and handling...

i second this notion...
that said making the haft might be a LITTLE bit more difficult due to the fact you have to accomodate for the bolts etc.
also, it means the pieces of the head can fit into a MUCH smaller box. which again = cheaper shipping
