I haven't read this yet but James Crawford has apparently finally tried to answer the question of whether different types of iron and steel corrode at different rates.

I will have to bookmark this for later. Have you read it yet? I am tempted to simply read the conclusion till I have the time to read it all.

I haven't been able to read much of anything lately except e-mail and a handful of forums. On top of my day-job I have three separate projects that are all in their final stages atm. I was hoping that someone here could read it and summarise it for me Razz
