Noel Fallows new book on Jousting in Spain, includes three chivalric manuals in translation, as well as a feast of 15th and 16th century harnesses and material culture items with which I was not familiar in may cases (he says himself int he intro that he tried to get lesser-known items). The photos are beautiful, but this is no coffee table book; this is a work of serious scholarship that will ALSO appeal to any practitioner or fan of the chivalric arts.
