Wow, that's an amazing diversity of beautiful knives and daggers, any of which I'd (metaphorically-speaking) kill for!

I've got an incidental question that I've been real curious to know for a long time, but have been "too afraid to ask."

How is the suspension on these types of sheaths properly used?

(And ofhand, I'd looked through all 50-some pages of the "show us your kits and harnesses" thread and could not find one example so I'm hoping someone might take pity on me and answer it here.)

Would both thongs pass behind the top of a belt, then come forward from under the belt and just tie across the front of the sheath, essentially making dual belt-loops? (Because that's how I wore one to an SCA event, for better or worse!)
