Maybe some of you can help me..I have been trawling through images of effigies and brasses for dipictions of knights wearing guard chains as well as wearing a jupon.I have found only one image where there appears to be a slit cut in a jupon for the chains to slip though and join to a coat of plates underneath can anybody find anymore????...There are plenty of images of the chains joining to a coat of plates/brigadine with no Jupon but I could do with finding more where the knight is wearing a Jupon as well aybody know of any more??? I would also be interested in any English knights wearing guard chains as it appears to be practise more used in mainland Europe...Ta very much!!!
