I've been waiting for this one for a while. Mr. Grandy's longsword reviews are an excellent read for me because he places the swords in context with the Germanic systems of combat, which I also study (albeit on a hobby basis... nowhere near the professionalism or proficiency as Mr. Grandy). I thought it very interesting that, while he noted that the differences in handling characteristics were slight, that they are still noticeable nonetheless. I think it makes a powerful statement on the effect of hilt components (aside from mere ergonomics) on a sword's characteristics.

Very well done. I enjoyed it thoroughly! Cool

And Rhaegar died."

Thanks for the compliments, Jeremiah! Especially when you say I practice swordsmanship with "proffessionalism and profieciency". That's only because you've never met me. Laughing Out Loud

I'm the owner of the Landgraf, and Jason Elrod owns the Sempach. I originally decided I needed one, and not the other, but now I'm definately of the opinion that I need a Sempach as well.
