I'm trying to do a bit of research involving the Filipino martial Art, Arnis. The term is a corruption of "Harness of the Hand" and refers to the fact that the art originally utilized spanish style gauntlets. As such, I'm trying to see what types of Spanish gauntlets would have been used in the philippines from the late 1500's (When Spain first visited there, through to modern times). If anyone could point me to online photos or other resources it would be greatly appreciated.
