My troupe is currently trying to refine our armour to be more historically accurate. As a result most of use are adding ailettes to our kit. I've done enough research to know that they fit well within our period, and enough to know that the shapes are virtually endless. We are each getting very creative with ours. I have the tedious task of painting them. My wife helped, but you can tell she's new at heraldic painting. I'll post the pictures as they become available.
