I'm looking for a good reference for Frankish clothing, from about 6th-9th century. Is there a good comprehensive book on textile finds, analysis of pictorial evidence, textual mentions etc.? I'm not looking for just reconstruction sketches etc. but something more detailed, kinda like "Prehistoric textiles" by E. J. W. Barber is for clothing in prehistoric Europe. Does such a thing exist?
