So a customer sent us a Bronze age style sword and provided us with some images to use for inspiration.
He wanted scabbard that was wood core and wrapped in leather with a special bridge on the backside of the scabbard. He provided us with decorative elements to use in the design.
This is a Clip Art representation of the sword he sent.
This image shows how the "Bridge" is on the backside of the scabbard and has a double brass ring with which to attach a belt.
These photos show the style of art that he wanted us to use in the decorative elements.
Here is a shot of the Sword he sent.
Below is what we came up with.

That is really an inspired work. What is even more amazing is that you made those fittings yourself! That is a home well worthy of Neil’s Carp Tongue.
Since each work you do seems better than the one before, I can’t wait to see project #2
