Well, we've discovered what March is good for. It's to show that April can still suck more than it. With a keen interest in paying the IRS what they have comming we're offering 20% off on arm harness commisions for the next few days http://www.merctailor.com/catalog/index.php?c...482ec77b05 for those who may be looking. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have and keep all your vendors in mind. The last few months have been sucky for them as well.

Allan

You crack me up. I'm a glass half empty kind of guy and I'm glad I'm not the only one! Happy Seriously though, I hope May is better for you.

I'm still thinking of your friend and his family. Sad

For the late period folks - I am a big fan of Allan's 16th c arms with the rotating rerebrace cuff - I don't know of any armourer making something like it on an "off the shelf" basis. http://www.merctailor.com/catalog/product_inf...ucts_id=31

for anyone wanting to see what the early 16th c elbows look like I have them on in this pic (as well as other bits of armour from MT) they are both point tied and strapped around the crook of the elbow so are very sturdy

And the full in one piece arms are great and here is a pic of me last year, the arms are MT as are the leg armour and gauntlets.

http://www.merctailor.com/catalog/product_inf...cts_id=122

I also have the 14th century arms that don't include attached shoulders.

Gordon Fry it think as the later early 16th century arms, as well as other MT armour for his jousting armour.

these http://www.merctailor.com/catalog/product_inf...cts_id=102

As I've said before Allan makes honest munitions using armour that fits and works properly ( good to give him a few measurements if one is very big or very small as he can tweak the fit a bit .... so e-mail or P.M. him if you have questions about fit, but generally his stuff fits most off the rack ).

I've got a pair of Allan's arms as well. I sent him a pair of my old spaulders I liked a lot and he integrated them into the 14/15th c arms for me.
Those arms are without question my favorite parts of my entire kit, and they really pull the whole thing together.

So if anyone is in the market, this is a great opportunity and your money will do more good for vendors now than ever. It's a win-win!
