Really nice work Christian and would I be guessing correctly that it's early Renaissance Italian maybe Venetian styled sword. Question

Very nice piece Christian, good to see more type XIX's been made, I just might have to get one of these for myself someday.

I wonder, is that the same blade that is used for Tried and True's XIX.1, minus the blackened groove-work on the ricasso? If so, then it should be a great cutter, as proved by Tom Kinder in his cutting video of the XIX.1.

I like the curve on the knucklebow.
