Maybe a weird request, but is there such a beast?
I have a few Zweihanders with Parierhaken/parrying hooks integrated into the blade and I always wondered if there was ever a sword from this period that substituted the conventional cross entirely with Parierhaken:
I mean ANY examples, not confined to Zweihanders. Or did these always go along with a quite robust, conventional cross guard and ricasso?
