It's not that I would trade my lot
For any other man's,
Nor that I will be ashamed
Of my work torn hands-
For I have chosen the path I tread
Knowing it would be steep,
And I will take the joys thereof
And the consequences reap.

I like that a lot. Is it long enough to be called a langsax?
Seaxneat would have approved.

Great work, Ben!
I contacted Ben about making this piece for me, offering only a few base design concepts, with the idea of allowing his sense artistry and craftsmanship to fill in the gaps.
He immediately grasped what I was going for, and produced a seax that far exceeded my expectations.
Ben was great to work with, being both very accessible and communicative.
I highly recommend him...If you're considering a custom piece, definitely give him a holler.
Thanks again, Ben!
