Just my best wishes to my American friends for their Thanksgiving celebrations, our Thanksgiving up here is a month or so earlier in Canada and a more low key affair, but the sentiment is very valid for anyone anywhere to take the time to appreciate what is good in life, including the miracle of life itself that we often take much too much for granted.
Thanks to Nathan for this site and all the work he puts into it and the friends I have made here that make my life richer.
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

I studied the historical knowledge of this feast.
Some aspects I did not know.
Save "Apple" and "Cider", nice idea...
Best wishes
Ciao

Just gimme another one of them there rum swizzlers........
(hic)
GC
PS
I set up to get falling down drunk for a change of pace and we skipped a real dinner entirely and went with turkey roll up burritos and no rum but some instant variations on sangria for my part. Mostly just catching up with parts of the family and swapping medical horror stories. I had just this week dug out a big chunk of glass (about 1 cm across and a few mim thick) from one thigh after 3 xrays and twelve hours in the ER two months ago showed nothing in the cut before they stitched me up. Of course, not falling in the first place would have been a good plan.
