once i have seen a XVIth century illustation, probably a watercolour, depicting two longbowman of the henricisn period,
the two archer depicted side by side, one young the other one with a long beard dressed, if i remember correctly in the,
civilian clothes of the period. the style resembled some watercolour depicting english soldier that are located inside the
british library, but i have never been able to find the mentioned picture. hope that someone could help.

The Henrician period covers 38 years, and the fashion does change fairly significantly over that period. Which end of the Henrician period are you interested in Gabriele?
