Okay so this is a brand new sword from Gus Trim made with the Christian Fletcher design Malatesta fittings.
It features a type XVIIIb 36 inch blade
The COP is 23 inches from the guard
COG is 4 inches
Handle Length is 9 Inches
Overall length is 48 inches
Overall weight is 2 lbs 10 oz
This model is available with hex nut assembly for easy take down or permanent assembly.
Either way price is 649.99

Sonny: Beautiful sword, though for some reason as I look at the photo I can't help visualizing it without the notches and trefoil cutouts. I think I just dig a simpler aesthetic.
David: I think that we can safely assume that "permanent assembly" means peened over, so no hex-nut for breaking down into components.

I have been hoping that Valiant would start assembly with a peen for some time now. I don't mean the standard line that they offer, but rather swords from the signature series. If "permanent assembly" equals a peen then I will be looking at purchasing one of their swords in the near future. Either way I have always loved the look of their blades.
