Pennsic is a medieval camping event that will run from July 30 to Aug 15 this year. The event is held in western Pennsylvania about an hour north of Pittsburgh. There are all sorts of medieval activities that go on within that two week period. Some martial, some Arts and Sciences, some just social. There is about 12,000 people camping in different groups with different themes and agendas.
One of the groups there is dedicated to teaching and practicing WMA. They generally call themselves WMA in SCA. Here is a link with a schedule of the classes that will be taught and the instructors that will be teaching the classes.

The event cost is about $130 for the two weeks.
No athlete/youth can fight tenaciously who has never received any blows: he must see his blood flow and hear his teeth crack... then he will be ready for battle.
