Hi all. I really love the looks of the upcoming Berserkr from Albion, but in the event that I cannot afford one, does anyone know of any companies that make a sword sized seax? I am looking for at least an 18 inch blade, and wide too, more than 1 1/2 inches. A sword style hilt is preferred over a pinned knife like handle. I won't be able to get one until after my OdinsBlade is finished and paid for though.
How can there be a perfect sword when PEOPLE come in all shapes and sizes too?

Hi Aaron, Perhaps one of these Seaxes will fullfill your requirements: http://www.hobbyundbrauchtum.de/html/schwert.htm
They are labelled as Sax as it is a German site. If there are any questions about the text on this site, just ask for a translation :-) His weapons might not be the most beautifull but something you can fight with. Two friends of mine are very content.

If fire does not cure it, a sword will.

Aaron, MRL used to make one as you probably know... You might put an ad in the Classifieds for one and see... Or, ofcourse, you could have me make one for you... Since I'm wanting to make one anyway.... Wink

Hi Aaron,

Jelling Dragon offers saxes with blades up to 24 inches. Not sure about the construction though - I would guess more like a knife than a sword, but...

Let us know if you find something reallly cool! Cool

Regards,

Mike

Hey Aaron, I'd take up Scott Byler on his offer.. I've seen some good things come from him before.
