I apologize if there's already a topic about this sword, but I found it in the albums section of the site and there was no date listed. I also checked the antique shop's site, and it is no longer listed there.
I can tell it is probably from around the mid-sixteenth century, but I was wondering if anyone had any more concrete information about it. Date/place of origin/classification/size/etc.
Thank you!

At a glance, I think this sword can be dated to 19th C or early 20th C, perhaps even more recent.
I do not think it is even a composite of old parts.
There are many things that feel a bit off and taken together the sword does not convince me.
Proportions, shape of individual parts, execution of decorative details, combination of blade and hilt: nothing of this looks like an original 16th C sword.
I may be wrong, but it would surprise me to learn this sword was in fact an original.
