I need informations about the austrian short sabre used by the fusiliers and grenzer regiments, model 1765 or model 1784.
I know that it has a 53 cm blade and has no knuckleguard. The difference between those two models is the shape of the guard, more simple for the 1784 model. I have seen drawings in the Osprey books but this is not enough for a quality reproduction. If somebody has a picture and detailed measurements I would appreciate it very much. I haven't been able to find anything about those sabre models on the net.
